The H1 power station DRUPS reinstatement has been completed successfully and all systems are operational. Global Switch will continue to monitor throughout the day.
Following current testing by Global Switch in relation to root cause of the recent power incident, Global Switch have notified EXN of their intent to re-instate the DRUPS (Diesel Rotary UPS) infrastructure to restore data centre resilience within the stated window subject to the outcome of
current testing.
Global Switch has confirmed that reinstating the DRUPS infrastructure is not expected to cause any impact to service. This activity has been classed as low risk by Global Switch, as previous activities of this nature have never resulted in impact to service.
Although EXN does not expect any impact, an extended team has been put in place overnight as a precaution in the unlikely event service impact is experienced.
This work will commence in a one hour window between 22:00 and 08:00
