Customers may be aware of a severe hardware bug within Intel, AMD & ARM chips that allows an unauthorised process access to privileged memory. Please follow the links at the bottom of this notification for more details about the bug.

As a result EXN will be installing a kernel update on all our cPanel servers starting at 01:00 on 10/01/2018. EXN have previously installed all kernel updates without the need to reboot servers using Kernel Care, unfortunately the Kernel Care team are still working on providing this update without the need to reboot and due to the severity of this bug we have made the decision to install the patch and reboot the servers in a controlled environment. During these reboots your websites and emails will be unavailable.
