We have been alerted to a power supply failure on device "punk.gs2.exn.uk" in Global Switch 2. Shortly after the PSU failure, we lost power monitoring on the chassis. Following an internal meeting, it has been decided to fast track an ongoing project to replace this device.
Starting at 22:00 this evening, all customer circuits will be migrated to new devices, clients with a single port may experience an outage of approximately 30 seconds. Clients with redundant ports will be subject to a controlled failover after 22:00 before their connection from "punk.gs2.exn.uk" is migrated.
Clients terminating on this device will be individually contacted over the next two hours.
