EXN will be performing at risk maintenance on our fibre links from Telehouse North towards Virtus LON1 Enfield, then towards Volta, which is replacing a legacy circuit between Virtus LON1 Enfield and Telehouse East. This work is part of our major layer 1 upgrade project (Project Raven), announced by email to clients in February.
This maintenance will bring into service our new dark fibre circuits. Only a single link will be worked on at one time, meaning no customer impact is expected, therefore this maintenance is classified as "AT RISK". Clients may notice slightly higher latency and minor packet loss while traffic is redirected.
We have decided to bring this forward maintenance window due to instability on our exisiting circuits which has caused service affecting outages in the past few months.
